Zionism 2000
Dear Friends,

Since its inception in 1995, Zionism 2000 has become an active, non-political, social movement operating hundreds of projects throughout Israel.

The wide range of social activities initiated by Zionism 2000 over the past few years, with the help of thousands of active members and volunteers, allows the movement to play an important role in creating a new social agenda for our country.

I have no doubt that real, long-term solutions for most of Israel’s social problems lie in the creation of a new civil society that takes full responsibility for what occurs in it. The aim of Zionism 2000, through projects such as Cities in Transition, Business for the Community and Citizens Build a Community, is to strengthen each individual’s confidence in his or her ability to influence the state of their communities and provide them with the tools to do so.

Over the past few years we have built a solid infrastructure for social and educational action on a national level. Our aim at this time is to recruit thousands of new volunteers and supporters in Israel and the Diaspora, and together to establish a stronger and healthier society in Israel.

Sincerely,

Ronny Douek
Chairman
