Zionism 2000
Seven operating principles for the planning and implementation of Zionism 2000 projects:

Commitment to the vision of Zionism 2000 - select, develop and implement projects based on their compatibility with the values and vision of Zionism 2000.
Apolitical - an open, equal approach to all layers of Israeli society, with no party affiliation.
Civil activism - select and implement projects which empower individuals, groups and communities to take responsibility and personally contribute to changing their environment and improving Israeli society.
Building a community - focus resources on organizations and communities, with an emphasis on developing and encouraging activity by local groups.
Independence - develop and empower local organizations to take over the project and run it independently, following the mentoring period, so as to avoid long-term dependency.
Continuity and growth - select and implement projects which have the potential for growth and inclusion - local, regional and national.
Professional management - the support of Zionism 2000 for each project/client will be based on quantifiable measurements, such as budget, duration and probability of success.
